In India, August 20th is celebrated as Akshay Urja Diwas, which translates to "Renewable Energy Day." It is an awareness campaign initiated by the Government to promote and highlight the advancements and potential of renewable energy in India. Akshay Urja Diwas has been celebrated annually since 2004 and serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about renewable energy technologies, their benefits, and their role in India's energy transition towards sustainability.
Similar to previous versions, RESI is organizing the Renewable Energy Day on 20.08.2024 virtually. The link will be shared with registered participants.
