REIMAGINING 2.0: 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Energy Technologies & Climate Science

Renewable energy provides an effective means of decarbonisation of the global energy mix. The second  edition of REIMAGINING 2.0; the flagship event to be organized by the Renewable Energy Society of India (RESI) before the REIMAGINING 2.0 Global Conference on Sustainable Energy Technologies & Climate Change is  the main platform, how the transition to renewable energies will help to limit global warming.

As the main aim of this event is to point out, renewable energies are at the heart of every plan for countries to reach climate targets while promoting economic development, jobs and the creation of domestic value. Doubling the share of renewables by 2030 will produce roughly half of the required emission reductions and, in combination with energy efficiency, hold the increase in global average temperatures below 2 degrees Celsius, the generally accepted goal to avoid catastrophic climate change.
