Dr. Tanusree Chakraborty, Professor at IIT Delhi has joined as Advisory Board Member in the RESI.

Prof. Tanusree Chakraborty is currently working in IIT Delhi as a Professor in Civil Engineering. Prior to this, she has served as Associate and Assistant Professors in the same Institute. Her notable areas of research include Energy Geotechnical Engineering, Energy Storage, Renewable Energy. She did her doctoral research work in Geotechnical Engineering from Purdue University.

She has more than 100 refrereed technical publications including journals and conferences. She is working research projects from DRDO and DST. She has developed impact and shock laboratories and renewable energy testing facility in IIT Delhi and have graduated many PhD, M.Tech. and MSR students. Her students are well-placed in academia and industry. She has conducted many short term courses and delivered many academic lectures.

She has received the Alexander von Humboldt fellowship in renewable energy research. She has also been visiting professor in Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) Trondheim, Norway and had done research Stay in Universität der Bundeswehr (UniBw) München, Germany. She has research collaboration with many universities in USA, Canada and Europe. She is Editorial board member of Indian Geotechnical Journal and reviewer to many prestigious journals. She is life member to Indian Geotechnical Society, Associate Member ASCE, Member ISSMGE.
