Renewable Energy Society of India Welcomes Shri Debojit Banerjee as Advisory Board Member

The Renewable Energy Society of India (RESI) is delighted to announce the induction of Shri Debojit Banerjee, AVP (Sales & Marketing), Kimbal Private Limited, as a Fellow and Advisory Board Member.

Shri Banerjee brings with him over 13 years of distinguished experience in electrical engineering and project execution, spanning Extra High Voltage (EHV) substation projects, renewable energy evacuation under the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS), and large-scale smart metering deployments across India. His leadership has been instrumental in delivering critical 765/400 kV substations and over 26 lakh smart meters under national schemes such as RDSS and PMDP, ensuring seamless integration of renewable power into the national grid.

His proven expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and grid compliance will significantly strengthen RESI’s mission to advance clean energy adoption, foster innovation, and build a transparent, collaborative ecosystem for sustainable growth.

With Shri Banerjee’s association, RESI reaffirms its commitment to supporting sectoral development, nurturing professional excellence, and driving India’s transition towards a greener future.
