RESI signs MoU with CDSRI to support and promote various activities in the RE sector.

Renewable Energy Society Of India (RESI)has signed an MoU with the Chandradeep Solar Research Institute (CDSRI) to develop joint activities in academic areas of mutual interest to support and promote various activities in the RE sector.

The MoU was signed on June, 27 2022 at Himayatnagar, Hyderabad by Dr.Sandip Chattopadhyay, Founder-Director, CDSRI and Shri Ajay Mishra (IAS Retd.), Director General, RESI (Ex Special Chief Secretary, Govt of Telangana). It will be valid for two years.

The MoU would offer a platform for exchanging faculty, researchers, and administrative staff and give opportunities for collaborative research in the RE sector.

The objective of this MoU is to establish a close partnership between Chandradeep Solar Research Institute and RESI in the below mentioned areas with an intent to Organize a conference on Circular Economy; Establish a Centre of Excellence in Energy Science & E-mobility areas; Commencing a Post Graduate Diploma Program in Renewable Energy Science & Technology;

In order to achieve the desired outcomes in the above-mentioned areas, both parties shall jointly undertake the following activities.

• Prepare a blue print for the Centre of Excellence (CoE)

• Onboard partner institutions for the CoE

• Identify potential investors and secure funds for the CoE

• Conduct problem identification workshops with industrial parks to identify industry problem statements

• Meet decision makers and propose solutions to the identified problem statements

• Prepare the agenda for conference / workshops

• Conduct consensus building and collaboration activities with core ecosystem players as a part of the conference / workshops

• Any other activities that are not covered under this MoU shall be taken up on a case-by-case basis with mutual consent of both parties.
